Spider-Man 2‘s first round of post-launch DLC has been announced and, strangely enough, they include crossovers with a streetwear brand, a pop star, a football icon, and a racecar driver.

Two years after it was originally revealed at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase, we’re less than a week away from the release of Spider-Man 2. Although most fans are probably just thinking about what they’re going to do in the base game and not looking too far beyond October 20, it seems like Insomniac Games is, as it already has some post-launch DLC plans in mind.

Over on Twitter, KidSuper, a streetwear brand based in Brooklyn and run by Colm Dillane, revealed that it was going to be working on a “custom-designed Spidey Suit” that will be added to Spider-Man 2 at a currently unspecified date after it has launched. That tweet was later retweeted by Insomniac Games’ official Twitter account, confirming that it’s a legitimate crossover.

That might seem like a bit of a random reveal, and it is, but it’s apparently just the start of what Insomniac has planned for Spider-Man 2 after it has launched. KidSuper’s tweet also revealed that more suits are coming to the game through more collaborations with popstar Rina Sawayama, McLaren racecar driver Lando Norris, and Real Madrid Winger Vinicius Junior.

KidSuper said, “Super excited to be teaming up with PlayStation, rinasawayama, vinij, (and) landonorris to bring you custom-designed Spidey-Suits that will be available in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 post-launch! A lot more to come so stayed tuned”.
