Lords Of The Fallen is filled with hidden locations that aren’t immediately accessible to you. Typically, if you want to gain entry to these secret areas, it involves a unique method or requirement. Within these locations, you’ll find valuable loot like new weapons, spells, or armor. While many of these spots open up in the Umbral realm, some are more traditional and necessitate obtaining a special key.
This same scenario applies when you first arrive at Pilgrim’s Perch. Here, you’ll encounter numerous locked doors that prompt you to obtain the Pilgrim’s Perch Key before granting you access.
How To Obtain The Pilgrim’s Perch Key
While exploring Pilgrim’s Perch, you’ll undoubtedly come across a Bell Door that is securely locked, as well as a few doors that specifically demand the Pilgrim’s Perch Key.
Fortunately, you won’t need to search far and wide to obtain this key; it’s available for purchase from an NPC at Skyrest Bridge.
Simply head there and interact with a knight stationed on the right side of the Vestige, known as Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis.
If you select the “Purchase” option from his menu, you’ll see that he offers the Pilgrim’s Perch Key for a rather hefty price of 9,500 Vigor.
Although the key is labeled with a “1”, you might get confused that you’ll need multiple keys to unlock various doors; this is not the case. Acquiring this single key will unlock all of them, similar to the way the Skyrest Bridge Key functions.
If you feel compelled to explore these locked areas, keep in mind that the enemies within these areas, especially behind the Bell Doors, are typically stronger than what you’ve encountered so far.
Where To Use The Pilgrim’s Perch Key
Up to this point, we can confirm that the Pilgrim’s Perch Key grants access to the following doors:
- The locked door in the area where you find Gerlinde the Blacksmith.
- The Bell Door near Pilgrim’s Perch Bellroom/Vestige of Blind Agatha.
- The Bell Door near Redcopse Windmill/Vestige of Marco the Axe.
- The locked door near the Umbral Flowerbed along the main progression road, shortly after you arrive at Pilgrim’s Perch.
